Wifi Connectivity :
10 Mbps BSNL internet broadband connectivity through OFC

4 Mbps wireless Access (Wifi) is installed from reliance to enable students accessing internet from anywhere in the campus.


College Stores :
The college has established stores to cater to the daily needs of the students and staff. The college has taken special interest to sell note books and books and stationery at concessional rates to the student and faculty members.

College Canteen :
The college has also provided canteen facility for the students, teachers and guests. The students & staff can refresh themselves when they feel tired. Cleanliness and hygiene is stressed.

Transport Facility :
The college has 14 brand new buses for the benefit of day scholar students and staff to ply between the college and the place of their residence. The transport facilities are provided for the following places :

Thiruvananthapuram, Marthandam, Karungal, Monday Market, Nagercoil, Kanya Kumari, Valliyoor, Kallakadu, Tirunelveli, Theroor and Kulachel.

College is equipped with modern photo copier with reduction and enlargement facilities at nominal charges.

Our college has provided the High speed WiFi connectivity to students and staff members inside college campus and in the hostels.

Sports & Games :

This infrastructure of the institute provides a conducive atmosphere to the students to have the skills in their favorite games by providing Basketball courts, volleyball courts, tennis courts, football ground cum cricket field and facilities for indoor games like badminton table tennis, caroms and chess. The institute also has a well equipped gym there by providing the students every opportunity to develop a sound body to house and sound mind. The infrastructure of the institute provides the students with a seminar hall and function hall to organize various cultural events. In addition to academic activities, the Institute is humming with co-curricular and extra-curricular activities which include technical associations of various departments, IEEE chapter and ISTE chapter (staff and students). The extra-curricular activities include NSS, Red Ribbon Club.

EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

N.S.S
There is a N.S.S unit in our college with a minimum of 50 members each. The N.S.S units are undertaking adaption of villages and community service to promote awareness on national integrity and communal harmony. Every year special camps are organized in rural villages about aids awareness, voter awareness, awareness on liquor prohibition, environment and pollution control, savings, fire prevention measures and women status which are highlighted in the campus. Free eye/dental/medical camps are also made frequently to the villages. Many villages below poverty line are much benefitted by these free camps. Free optical are provided to the needy people during the free camp donated by the Chairman of Jayamatha Engineering College.

CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Associations :
As a part of the co-curricular activities our students, various associations are formed in different faculties. The objectives of these associations are to conduct seminars and to inter-act with the experts.

Seminars :
Seminars are conducted periodically in the various faculties of our colleges. In addition to these seminars, special seminars are also organized with the participation of technical experts from renowned concepts.

Industrial Visit :
Our students undertake industrial visits to various industries and firms like Spic-Tuticorin, Madura coats – Madurai , Lakshmi Mills – Coimbatore etc. These industrial visit are organized as a part of curriculum and also to open up a wide scope of opportunities for the students passing out from our institutions.

Department of Physical Education :
Department of Physical Education is equipped with all outdoor and indoor games facilities for the staff and students, both men and women to take part both in individual and group activities of different nature to encourage the student's participation to greater extents.
